Citroes liqueur is, unlike some other liqueurs, made without the addition of colourings, fragrances and flavourings, but from hand-peeled organic lemons and pure organic grain alcohol. Because the citrus fruits are peeled by hand, less sugar needs to be added and the taste is naturally very fresh and soft.

Citroes Liqueur can be stored for a long time, because it contains a lot of alcohol. Especially if the bottle is kept in the dark and/or in the freezer. But storing Citroes Liqueur is of course a shame, because it is made to be drunk and enjoyed :-)

Citroes Liqueur can be drunk neat. Preferably ice cold, in a small glass with or without ice. For example, Citroes Liqueur is usually served, after dinner the bottle appears on the table. Citroes Liqueur is increasingly being mixed. For example with Champagne/Cava, with tonic or with sparkling water. Citroes Liqueur is also increasingly used in cocktails. It is best to keep Citroes Liqueur ice cold and in the dark. The best thing is to put it in the freezer and only take it out when you pour it. Ice cold is the taste at its best and the Citroes Liqueur is nice and syrupy.

Citroes Liqueur is made with the zest of the various citrus fruits and pure Organic grain alcohol. You soak the zest in the alcohol for some time. The zest gives the fresh taste to the alcohol and also provides the striking colors. After a few weeks, sugar and a touch of vanilla are added to this. It is then filtered and the Citroes Liqueur is suitable for consumption.
